A Passion Project
Grangebeg is home to Aidan, Poppy and their little daughter Sophie. Set on a stunning 67 acres of Irish grazing land and surrounded by mature trees, Grangebeg is a top quality equestrian facility as well as a home. The family bought the farm in 2020 and have been working tirelessly to transform it into an equine haven and top class training centre ever since.

What We Do
At the heart of Grangebeg is our passion for producing top quality competition horses and training riders who are dedicated to the sport. Aidan prides himself on his ability to select horses for clients as well as help students to learn and progress through the sport. We offer coaching programs, clinics and full board options.

Aidan Killeen
Aidan has represented Ireland at Junior, Young Rider and Senior level Showjumping. His career highlight came in 2019, recording two CSIO Nation Cup wins for Team Ireland in Drammen and Uggerhalne.
Aidan spent several years in the US learning about the market, coaching and the production of high performance horses. On returning to base in Europe, Aidan has focused on producing horses to the highest level and dedicated his time to training students to reach their goals in the sport.
Aidan prides himself on the education and progression of the horses in his care and his passion for coaching.
Poppy Blandford
Poppy , as well as being part of the team at Grangebeg works internationally as a Performance Coach specialising in Equestrian sport. Working closely with federations, development squads, teams, coaches and international riders, Poppy has built a strong reputation for her specialist ability to influence the performance of Equestrian athletes. Poppy is known for her in-depth knowledge of the Equestrian industry, working to help individuals perform consistently, build confidence and thrive under pressure.
She currently tutors for the Rolex Young Riders Academy, The Wesko Equestrian Eventing Foundation as well as providing workshops for the likes of Horse Sport Ireland, British Showjumping and the FEI. Her list of clients includes Olympic and World Equestrian Games athletes, Global Champions Tour Team riders and many of the top stables in Europe and the United States.
